Re: Working moms who pump...
I have a door to my office so I would close it and told everyone to knock if it is closed.
Your job is required to give you a place to pump, you should not have to go into the bathroom.

Re: Working moms who pump...
I am pretty sure NY State does not have BF access laws. I used my own office to pump in but since I stopped going into the office much I gave it up about a year ago. This time I asked one of the other women if I could use their office 2x a day to pump and they had no problems with that. I have pumped in a bathroom before during a big party and it was fine bt not the best scenrio. I would not do it everyday.

Re: Working moms who pump...
I have my own office, so I just close the door. You are entitled to a place to pump.
What I do is carry the Medela Pump in Style advanced Backpack to and from work every day.
I pumped first thing in the morning (before I nursed DD), then around noon and right before I left work. I bought a microwave steralizer to steralize my pump equipment at work. Every day I would bring a bottle of milk home. It worked great for the last 8 months. Since I have such a bank of frozen milk in my freezer, I stopped pumping at work 2 weeks ago. I am weaning her in 3 weeks- on her 1st b-day.

Re: Working moms who pump...
I work part-time and pump once a day at work. I don't have my own office, but use a co-workers when he goes to lunch. It's a little awkward, but it's been working for the last 6 months.
Good luck!
