just called- its $68/mo and $69 per household to join. That's a little steep. They do have an awesome class schedule though- maybe they'll hire me and I can go for free

I actually belong to world gym and yes they are a bit steep but I don't think I would ever leave and join somewhere else! They have amazing classes and the instructors are great! The daycare from what I hear is amazing and I think they are open until 8:30 pm during the week!

my dh bought me a month membership pass around the holidays. I was highly disappointed. It costs a fortune and I was so pizzed that the circuit training wasn't even real weights. They were those resistant band things..(not sure if I'm using the right terminology) I used to work for NYSC and would go at lunch to the one in the city. So maybe I was used to their set up and my opinion might be biased.
but I did not go back and join after my month membership was over.
For what it's worth I would recommend Synergy gyms. I thought they were much nicer.

My dh used to work out at world gym but then switched when I joined XSport. He now loves it. He likes the steam room, jacuzzi and pool the most. They are open 24/7 and they have a great day care. You can even monitor the room on your personal tv that's on the cardio machines. It's only $49. a month.
