Worried - 26 wks and baby not moving as much...
I am hoping that I am just overly concerned, but for the past month I have felt the baby move alot everyday. At least once a day he would just start kicking like crazy. The past few days, I have not felt him as much He may give me one kick a day or I can just sense where he is. Is it normal for him to slow down like this?
TIA!!

I think you should be feeling more than 1 kick a day....especially since you say there was alot more movement in the past. If you feel a definite decrease in movement I would call your doc.

I am 27 weeks and there are some day where I feel her kicking all day, but then the next day I dont feel her. It gets me nervous too. I did notcie if i lay flat or on my side i can get her to move more. Everytime I work myself up to call the dr. then she gives me a sign. LOL.

Re: Worried - 26 wks and baby not moving as much...
I remember calling my friend and crying HYSTERICAL bc i didnt feel the baby as much. I think this happens from time to time. DId you try all the "tricks"?- drinkinging something cold or OJ and then laying on your side? Sometimes that worked for me and sometimes it didnt
Also- find out if you have anterior placenta (placenta lies in front of uterus). I did and found out at like 30wks at a sono. Girls w/ ant placenta will have a harder time feeling babys kicks bc its cushioned by the placenta.
Its not something theyd necesaarily tell you bc its nothing "bad" or "wrong". Either the placenta grows in front or it grows in back. They only care that there IS a placenta so they might not mention to you WHERE. call you dr and get a read from a recent sono
