Would any Photoshop Mommies....
be willing to make a copy of their program for me? I have lots of holidays (hence, card making) coming up and my Elements 5.0 just isn't working right. I really think it's a bad copy (bought off the internet).
Is this even possible or does the CD now allow you to?
TIA!
ETA: I'm in NC but will pay for shipping of course.

I use GIMP. Its a free downloadable program similar to Photoshop. That's how I make cards.

Everyone knows that I'm a big believer in GIMP as well.
It's free and legal. Making a copy of Photoshop is illegal (not that I haven't done it myself, but it's still illegal... )

I know it's illegal but is this really like PS?
...and sorry Shawn...I should have said Dad's too.

I don't even notice "Mommy" comments on here anymore....
GIMP is very similar to PS. It does pretty much everything the full version does. Some of the buttons will be in different menus, but all of the features are there. All I use is GIMP for my major photo editing (MS Paint is still handy for quick things, since it starts up much faster).
Also, like I've told several people.... download it for free and try it. If you like it, then you're all set. If you don't like it, you've only lost an hour or so of your time.

Have you tried uninstalling and reinstalling it?
If it's really just a bad copy, it wouldn't be as illegal to get the actual software from someone as long as you use the license that you paid for to install it.
Also, if you have a legit license, you should be able to get support from Adobe. Have you tried checking their site?
