Would It Be Inappropriate For Me To Ask This?

I have been at my job for almost a month now and before I started, my boss (who is based in the UK) told me that she wants me to come over there for training in May - it was tentatively scheduled, before I started, for the week of May 19th. She said she wanted me to come over before a big trade show in Singapore in mid-june that she's attending. I still am not ticketed to fly over there. When we talk on the phone, she'll say things like 'when you come over here for training....' but doesn't specify possible dates. I asked her once about when she thinks I'll go and she didn't answer - that was about two weeks ago. Can I ask again or is that inappropriate? Should I just leave it alone? I don't want to annoy her.

I would ask - you need to make travel arrangements in advance so you really need to know when she'd like to you there

i agree. is it possible to work it into an email? perhaps going over different points and then making one of them "i know you had previously mentioned me possibly coming over there (yadda yadda yadda) and just wanted to know your thoughts so that i may plan ahead and book at a good rate".

I would ask, you need to make travel plans, and have your current office taken care of while your gone. (I hope the company is paying for it too)

I would ask - BUT not just randomly or out of the blue. If she says "When you get here for training...", you should respond by saying "I am really looking forward to getting out to you and expanding my knowledge base - do you have any dates in mind? I'd like to be sure to clear them for the trip."
