Would it look weird if I put a valance on this window?

Hi Guys -

This room is going to be the nursery if we ever close and move in! They are leaving the white wood blinds which I like, but I really wanted to put up a valance that matches the bedding.

Do you think it would look ok?

Here's the window (owners stuff in the room)




This is the bedding and the valance...Not sure if we'd do the curtain too.

I think it would be just fine. I like the way it looks with the curtain, but, it may be too much with the wood blind.

I think a valance would look perfectly fine. My sister has the same blinds on my neice's bedroom window with a valance and it looks fine. I'll see if I can get a picture to post.

Would you just do the valance or the panels too? If just the valance I think the blinds are fine, but if you're doing the panels too, I'd lose the blinds - you don't need them.
