Would like some shoe advice

I am a total flats person, but they offer little to no support.

I am pregnant now, so I won't be buying shoes anytime soon, but I told DH that when I have the baby I am DONE buying cheap Target and Payless shoes for work because as cute as they are they are just not as comfortable or supportive as quality shoes, and they do not last as long.

I am open to wedges, and low heels.

Where is the best place to look for shoes that are good, quality, comfortable, stylish, and won't break the bank? I am going to start at DSW, but I am open to suggestions. I do not buy shoes online, I have to try them on in the store. I will probably need about 4-6 pairs of shoes, all in the $40-$80 range.

TIA! Chat Icon

Marshall's and TJ Maxx are also great for getting good deals on better brands. That's where most of my shoes come from! (the worst part is peeling the stickers off!! )Chat Icon

I agree with DSW- you can get some higher quality brands for more reasonable prices.

I feel the same- I always buy cheap shoes then regret it later... I actually lost a toenail from wearing shoes that were too narrow.

From now on I invest in good quality shoes that fit right.

Call me an old fart, but for work, I live in Easy Spirit and Aerosoles shoes.

They have cute/somewhat fashionable flats with great support and cushioning.

I actually had a pair of pointy-toed flat from EasySpirit that I loved but the toe got worn out. Thanks for the reminder!

DSW and I love the Nine West Outlet. There's one by me at work in Plainview. Never had a problem with their shoes. Always cute and comfy

Naturalizer makes good quality, comfy shoes, and some of their styles are actually cute! They're sold at Macys and they have a store at the Tanger outlets in Deer Park.

I Like Bandolino which has great sales on its website and also sold at DSW.

I always find their shoes to be comfortable and well made. They fit my feet a lot better than much more expensive brands.

Naturalizer is great for work shoes & boots. Sold at Macys, they have some stores in some malls and I always do good at the outlets for them!

Also, there is a brand called Sofft that I can usualy find at DSW. THey are soo comfortable! They have plenty of flats and wedges. They may sell them in other places, but I've always gotten mine at DSW.

Re: Would like some shoe advice

Bandalino makes good shoes for work. I also like Nine West (outlet or sales at Macys). I work 18 hours easily a day when traveling for work and it is all on my feet. I travel about half the month. I have tried lots of brands and Nine West has held up the best.

I find aerosols, easy spirit, anne klein flex all to be cut strange.

I scour the DSW sale racks. I have tons of shoes that cost me $10 b/c I raid those racks. I also have the WORST feet, so I'm sure you'll find much more!

I love Naturalizer, aerosoles, and anne klein shoes. I find atienne aigner shoes pretty good, too.

I hate sketchers and jessica simpson shoes b/c they are so narrow.

I'm a shoe wh*re -
For inexpensive, comfortable shoes - I love Nine West - They have those 'buy one get one 50% off' outlets everywhere -
Admitedly, the shoes don't last very long - but I'm very hard on my feet -

I will mostly wear Nine West and Bandolino to work, they are always comfy. I get them at the show place upstairs in the source mall near forever21.
