Would like to donate medication for feline Hyperthyroidism
I have tried 3 shelters. My sweet almost 17 year old kitty passed away a month ago from Cancer. She had Hyperthyroidism and was well maintained on transdermal Methimazole. I had ordered 2 tubes of this medication that are both unopened and the pharmacy won't take them back for a refund. Two shelters never got back to me and the other said they prefer to use the pill form of this drug. Does anyone know where I can donate it?

Break the chain program will take it. they have a website and facebook page. let me know if you need help locating them. you can probably mail it to them. they work with a vet to administer meds.
Very sorry to hear about your cat--that is very nice of you to donate and help another cat out! :)
