Would like to Introduce Myself
So happy that I can join this board. It has been a long journey for me and my DH. We suffered from severe infertility. I am happy to say now that I am Pregnant with Twins! We had our first sonogram appointment this morning (6wks5days) and we got to see two heartbeats and two baby beans. Baby A is measuring perfect but Baby B is trailing a little behind!
The one thing I learned along this journey is never loose faith and you just have to Believe! Congrats to everyone! Here is to a Happy and Healthy 9 months!!!!!!
Has this happened to anyone else where one baby was trailing a little behind the other?

and yes baby b was always a little smaller than baby a and both were born healthy and great at 37 weeks

i didnt get growth sono's till i was further along, i personally think it's way to early to look at that....i wouldnt worry.

Yes, Baby B was always a little smaller but they were born a little before 37 weeks, Baby A-DD was 6lbs5oz and B-DS was 5lbs6oz...now at three months they are both the same weight!! It was never a cause for concern throughout the pregnancy.
When we put our embies back, there was one perfect one and one right below that...I always say that one was my baby b!

That is so funny you say that because the same exact thing happened to us, our dr. said the one was perfect and the other embie was right behind it! Thank you for your well wishes!

Welcome Aboard! I also struggled with getting pregnant and I never lost faith and always maintained my positive attitude. I delivered at 37w1dy

Yup, my little girl has always been lagging behind my little boy. At 32 weeks, it isn't a big difference anymore. But, at my 6wk sono, my RE told me that they weren't sure she would make it because she was much smaller. But, here we are at 32wks

Congratulations!! My Baby A was always smaller and when I had my first sono didn't even show up. The next week he had a heartbeat but it was only 99 bpm(they like to see 100) The Dr's really thought I would end up with one baby but in the end I have beautiful healthy twin 19 month olds!
If your babies are fraternal-think about it this way. They are just siblings sharing a womb-every baby develops at a different pace.

Congratulations and welcome to this board!! I too just found out that I am having twins after a long 3 1/2 year struggle with infertility. My DH and I are so overwhelmed with joy right now. We always had faith that it would happen and that God had a plan!! Best wishes to you for a happy healthy 9 months!!!
