Would like to make White plate with hand print ?

I saw the most cutest thing
You cut out youre DD or DS hand made out of fabric in the center of a white plate and there name on the top and the year on the bottom , and it looks laminated ? Anyone made this before

I would guess you could use modge podge to decoupoge it to the plate. Maybe ask at Michael's or AC Moore, I bet they would have some ideas.
