Would love comments/criticism on this project..
TIA!!! I would appreciate it. It's a step stool for my 2 year old cousin...
(yes i did one last month for my friends daughter, i have been into crafting lately..).
It isn't finished...needs a gloss topcoat...but not sure if it looks "done".

Thanks!! You don't think the name looks too "blah"? I hate that i did it in black....maybe i could highlight the name with another color, not sure?!

I think it would like nice with another highlighted color or maybe something wrapped around the name. I can't think of anything sports related though.
I wouldn't have thought about it unless you mentioned it. Really, it's great as is.

If you feel that it needs something - like you said maybe outline his name with one of the colors you already used.
But it definitely doesn't need it.

I think it's fine the way it is. I think n art projects we all tend to take it too far and sometimes ruin a good thing.

Looks great!
Maybe you can use a blue and highlight the name or put a back shadow on the letters.
It really does look great!!

I THINK i will leave as is...and spray with the glossy finish. I think if i start toying with highlighting the name I may mess it up...

It's so easy. I buy the step stools at AC moore, sandpaper them so they're smooth...paint them and then design. I used my sons sippy cup lid to trace the shape of the soccer and basketballs, lol!!
