Would you........
Take a job that pays slightly less $$$, but you could work from home most of the time, with less stress and less responsibility or a job that pays more $$$$, is a very high-powered, high profile position with slightly better benefits (ie. 401K).
Just curious ;).

i'd take the paycut as long as it didnt hurt our finances.
i work to live, i dont live to work. i'd rather have the flexibility to be home with DH.

sure! If you can afford the pay-cut, I would go for it!
But I would make it my business to find out what the advancement opportunities are (like when you're able to make more $)

in a heartbeat- think of the $ you'd save commuting, eating lunch at home--- depending on how far you work away from home if it's an hour each way that's 2 hours that you're getting back that you're not just traveling.
