Would you ask for a refund??????????????
i ordered DH's gift on Wednesday the 14th..... i paid extra for express shipping... 2nd day air.... which meant it SHOULD have really come Friday... although i only cared that it get here by today (sat, his birthday).
Well, i just checked the trackign and it is scheduled to be delivered on the 19th!!!!!!!
i feel bad that dh didnt get to open his gift on his birthday.
would you call and demand the shipping charges be credited back to your card?

Are you sure you ordered it on time for friday delivery? Also, did you add the "Ships in " time to the shipping time?
If so, and it still should have been there by Friday, then I would complain.
But they may just say the snow was a factor, etc.

im just so upset cuz if i knew it wouldnt be here by today i would have a)gone to the store to buy it or b)done regular shipping, why pay more if its not here on time anyway

yeah, exactly! def get a refund on the shipping. If you b*tch enough and it's a big company, you may get more.
Once my Staples order wasn't ready on time, I arigued and got it for FREE, but I still didn't like the way I wa streated so I called corporate and they gave me a $25 gift certificate. So I got a $60 order free, plus another $25. The squeaky wheel gets the greease

Was their a cut off time for order processing? meaning if you placed your order by 5pm it would be processed Wednesday, and you would have it by Friday but if you placed your order after 5pm it would not be processed until Thursday which means 2nd day non saturday delivery is correct it would be delivered on Monday

Was it an item that would defintiely ship that day? Some things say "Ships within 24 hours, which would give them until Thurs to ship it, which would still make Monday delivery legit.
