Would you bring your little one
Just curious... If you could, would you bring your little one with you to get a massage?

Re: Would you bring your little one
Just thinking if you really need a massage and never seem to have the time...what if you could just bring em. esspecially if its a private office. I know it's not the same though. I just wanted to hear opinions... Thanks

Sorry I know it is hard to find child care so you can get out, but I am a BIG believer in happy mom = happy baby. I think you need to make the time for you to go for an hour, trust me it will be worth it.

Re: Would you bring your little one
I bring Noah when I get my nails done, usually if I time it right he sleeps through most of it. The only problem is that if he wakes up halfway through, he is not the kind of baby who will sit in his pram and be happy...he wants to be climbing all over very dangerous things, so its a bit of a nightmare!
Its too much pressure to bring a baby when having a massage....I think I woulld worry too much about him/her waking up and being miserable!

Re: Would you bring your little one
What if the place had a playpen/tv/toy area for a little one?

Re: Would you bring your little one
at first i thought no, but if there was a separate room where there was babysitting i might consider it. i wouldn't just leave him in a play area. there would have to be someone there to supervise and take care of him. when i go for a massage i don't want to worry about what my little one is doing.

Re: Would you bring your little one
Do you mean bring while you get one or have the baby get one? For you? No. Even if DC is a great and sound sleeper, you'd still not relax 100% b/c you'll be thinking about if they wake up. And it's not fair to the massager either. For baby? Sure but ONLY if the person was appropriately trained to give infant massages.

Re: Would you bring your little one
To be honest…The massage isn’t for me. I opened my place a few months ago, just recently married and I’m just thinking about when I join TTC family. So I was just brainstorming… I was curious to see how many moms or dads would be interested if I designed the office to be kid friendly. I was thinking if couples or mommy friends come together and bring DC and take turns…or if I actually had a receptions/baby sitter...I was just wondering what everyone thought.
We’re not quite ready to ttc but Im not getting any younger, although I do now have a 15yrs stepdaughter (any stepmoms out there that can advise?) (that’s a story for another post) I really do appreciate the opinions and comments. Thanks

Re: Would you bring your little one
Thank you for the imput... I guess it was a nice thought...but not exactly the best idea... I'm jumping ahead of myself...just got married and for some reason my head is on DC don't know if the DH caught on...I was telling him I wanted to push the office towards families...pre/post natal massage, infant massage classes...
ok confession...my b-day was the other day and out of no where I started to hear this clock
Thanks
