Re: Would you buy a baby carrier
get the Ergo carrier, so much better than the Bjorn, esp when the baby gets bigger!

Exactly what I was going to say. It is a perfect baby item to buy off ebay b/c you can throw it in the wash.
ETA: I love my bjorn too...I had to take my dog to the vet today and I put Christopher in the bjorn and we all walked there.

Re: Would you buy a baby carrier
yesterday we walked around target and home depot in the bjorn...so much easier than lugging around the infant seat. tomorrow will be food shopping!

Absolutely! I would buy a Mei Tei rather than a Bjorn though.

Why not save 50% (almost)?!?!
In the end, you'll have a product that makes life easier!
I have a Snugli and without it I would never make it to the grocery store and we'd all be dead by now. Even if you can stand to carry an infant seat, it takes up ALL the room! The carriers allow you to be hands free and NOT take up space in carts or have to maneuver a stroller when you don't feel like it. They also come in handy when the baby is having a bad day, needs to be held at an off time or you want to hold them but you have other thigns to do around the house. I love to use it while I eat b/c he thinks he's being held and I can eat with 2 hands!
I actually want to buy a 2nd one so I can leave one in the house and one in the car.
