Would you buy a high end stroller from Ebay - NIB?
I'm 99% sure I want the Phil & Ted's Vibe double stroller, but it retails for $809.
There is an Ebay seller who sells all baby gear, with a 99.6% rating selling it for $599, so $200 less.
Would you buy such a big ticket item off Ebay?
DH is worried about what happens if something goes wrong with the stroller and if the warranty would still be valid.
Any experienced Ebay users know what I need to look out for in purchasing an item off Ebay?

If the seller has sold many items with a good rating. Yes I would. I bought my monitor off ebay and it works great!

have you tried craig's list? I just bought a phil and ted's from there and i am extremely happy with it.

I did, and the Ebay seller is actually cheaper than what I've seen on Craiglist, plus offers 7 day return, and the stroller is New in Box.
All the comments say the Seller is great to work with, free shipping, fast, item as described, and if there were slight issues (something missing in box, it was immediately remedied.)
So, seems to me he is like an Ebay store. But I don't use Ebay much, so I'm not sure how it works.

I would buy a high end stroller from ebay. Just make sure you pay with PayPal, they have buyer protection so if anything happens they will help and you can get your money back if for instance, you never get your item, item comes damaged....etc..99.6 rating is pretty good, i would read their feedback anyway. I always look for what the negative feedback was.

ITA with this. Paypal is always your best bet for big ticket purchases.
I'd say go for it, especially since the seller offers a return policy!

I def would with a high rating like that esp!!! I think the warranty is from the manufacturer not the seller...also, I woul ask the seller about the warranty as well..doesn't hurt!!
