Would you buy a phone case from ebay?
The otter box defender case I have ripped where the mute and headphones area is (I ripped it by accident).
Anyways, I want to buy a new defender online...the prices on ebay are like 1/2 of the otterbox website...is there some catch?

Nothing wrong with a case from ebay!
Also, check out amazon for good prices on Otterbox!
I get free 2 day shipping from Amazon prime and I got the Otterbox Defender case for my iPhone4 on Amazon for only $20 bucks when it retails for $49.95.

Call them!!! The silicone case part on my Otterbox Defender ripped last week. I called them just to see if I could by a new silicone case and it turned out it was 100% guaranteed and they sent me a new one for free!!! I'm so glad I called because I did the same thing -- I was going to buy a new one on eBay.

Nothing wrong with eBay..you will get a better deal there then the actually site where its sold.
Got an otterbox defender for like 30 bucks.

I don't know if you can get a whole new color -- I just needed the black part that went over the hard pink case so that's what they're sending me. I guess you can tell them the whole thing broke or something. They were VERY accomodating!!
