Would you buy a use Pack n' Play?
Just curious since there are a lot of people selling them on craigslist. Why or why not? Thanks!
ETA: Do you think it matters if it's not really colored towards the specific sex baby that you were having?

Sure.. why not. I would make sure it was in decent condition and clean/ disinfect it really well.

I voted yes, but I'm VERY picky when it comes to things like that so I would DEF. have to know the person.

I voted no- I would just be concerned that there were no defects with it

I voted no, but only because I am currently living in fear of bed bugs (insane, I know).

I voted No... There are some DIRTY people out there. No matter how much I disinfect it, it would still skeeve me. Yes, I'm weird.
I would definitely buy it off of someone I knew, though.

Absolutely. You can wash the cover of the mattress and buy new sheets.

Re: Would you buy a use Pack n' Play?
i voted yes, just be sure to get the brand and do your research prior to getting to the persons house. you want to know what you're paying for.
also don't feel obligated to take it if it's not in good shape!!

yea I agree with this- about someone you know. I borrowed a lot of stuff from my gf- her swing/bouncer, baby slings, hooter hiders- and lots more because I know that she is a germ-a-phobe and freak like me lol

Re: Would you buy a use Pack n' Play?
I think so. On a nice day you can take it outside, hose it down, clean it and disinfect. You could maybe even steam clean the "mattress" part. I would make sure it was a non smoking and probably pet free home b/c pet hair and dander can be tricky to get rid of (just in case baby is allergic for some reason).

Craigslist no, but I would ck the buy/swell thread here for one. Also, a new one can be under $50 if you use a 20 percent off coupon from BBB

Re: Would you buy a use Pack n' Play?
definately, some people rarely use the pack n play. It's one of those registry items you pick and may or may not use.
I got a Graco pack and play off craigslist for $25! It was in PERFECT condition. They had the box and all accessories. They said it was the extra at grandma's house used a handful of times.

Re: Would you buy a use Pack n' Play?
i voted Maybe.
Graco makes a simple PNP that is $69 at BRU - I always get 20% off coupons, so it comes out to a little over $50 - I looked on craigslist and people were selling used ones for $40 - for an extra $10 I would rather have a new one.
(DD hates her bassinet so I bought a second PNP)
