Would you buy furniture online?

Partly due to indecisiveness, bad time managment and a 1000 other reasons I still havent bought DD''s crib and she is 4 1/2 mths oldChat Icon

So....I am thinking about buying a crib online from the land of nod website...am I mad? I know crate and barrel owns this company so the quality should be okay ...but I am worried about buying it and then hating it if the quality is bad....

The other thing that concerns me is that it has two solid ends so I may have trouble attaching a breathable bumper...

Maybe she should just sleep with us unitl she is 16Chat Icon

Should I risk it or hual my *** off to behrs or somewhere?

TIA..

go to the store - I think alot of furniture is very different in person then at the store. Esp. the quality - you just never know.

Also you don't want to get it, put it together, not like it and have to take it apart to return it that will be a nightmare Chat Icon

Re: Would you buy furniture online?

I ordered all my furniture on line from ebay. I researched through the baby bargains book what brands I wanted and then found them on ebay. I ordered a crib, a dresser and a dresser style changing table. The only problem was that I didnt realize how small the changing table part was. We used it for the first month as a changing table and then when she got wigglier I went to the St. Vincent DePaul Society and bought a used changing table which has been GREAT..It is big and holds alot. The other is now a bookshelf and it has drawers to hold all her blankets and whatnot.

I used Ebay as well for mine and got beautiful furniture for an incredible price. I'm going to do the same exact thing for baby #2. We had to assemble them ourselves, but DH and I were a good team and got everything together just fine.
