Would you buy tickets now to a broadway show for Sept?
I wanna get tixs for Wicked--cheap seats but the only month I can get them is for Sept.. What happens if the show closes b4 then, do I get my money back? I am just really worried about the economy...

Wicked is the most popular show out there...I do not see any chance of it closing. You can't get tix until September bc it is already sold out...meaning it is in high demand. Go for it..I have seen the show twice and it is amazing!

it's not going anywhere but you could always go stand on the tickets line the day of for tickets.

It's a popular show and hard to get tickets. I'd get them now if you know for sure you're going.

I wouuld get them now. It's a very popular show and I highly doubt it will close anytime soon!! We tried three times last week to win the ticket lottery at the theater ($25 front row seats), but had no luck.

I doubt Wicked will be going anywhere anytime soon. If it were another show, I might be worried. But, if you used your credit card to purchase tix to a show that was later cancelled, couldn't you then dispute the charges with the card company?

Rich bought me tix to see Wicked in 2006 ... he gave them to me for my birthday in FEBRUARY, and the soonest available Sat night show was NOVEMBER!!!
I would definitely buy them now...Wicked was a great show!
