Would you cancel a playdate (pizza making) if your child had a bad cough?
I am hosting a pizza making workshop at a pizzeria this afternoon with about 15 other kids in my mom's group. My 3yo DS just came down with a cold and has a pretty bad cough. He was coughing all night. He seems a little better this morning. I don't know if I should just not attend. I plan to send DS to preschool this morning.
Would you be upset if the host's child had a bad cough?
In the winter, 3yo DS came down with a stomach bug so he stayed home with DH while I went to an event I set up with my then non-walking baby. DH thought it was silly that I went without the 3yo DS. I felt responsible for going because I set up the event and was the host.

I would cancel...like PP said, the combo of food prep and coughing on it would not thrill me...sorry, this stinks. Kiddos always get sick at the worst times. Hope he feels betetr soon!

I would definitely cancel. I wouldn't be happy if a child had a bad cough in preschool or out preparing food. Could you find someone to watch him if you don't want to cancel?
