Would you go to DW/Sesame Place if your DC hates kiddie rides?

We went to Ocean City this past weekend. DS didn't enjoy the rides. He cried on some. Others he sat still but didn't really enjoy it. I don't think he smiled once during the ride portion. I should have known. DS HATES riding the swing. I swear he is the only kid who doesn't like being in a swing.

He did love walking on the boardwalk. He also had fun playing in the sand.

Would you take DC to DW and/or Sesame Place if DC didn't enjoy kiddie rides?

Is it worth it to play in the water park and watch the shows?

Sean loves the train, but hates the carousel - We're going to Sesame in July - he'll be 15 months
He LOVES the Sesame characters, LOVES people watching and interacting w/ other people (kids, adults - whatever) so even if he doesn't like the rides, I think he'll enjoy the park -
We're also going w/ friends who have 2 boys (2 1/2 and 11 months) that Sean adores -

My DS hates swings too...since he was a NB. We ended up selling his baby swing b/c he would only cry in it. And now, with park swings, he goes in for 5 seconds and wants out. Chat Icon

But he loves water, and he loves Elmo, so we will be taking him to Sesame. Even if he can't ride the rides, he can see the characters, the parade, play in the baby water attractions, and we get a family vacay out of it. He is 16 months right now.

DS loves Yo Gabba Gabba and the Wiggles but hasn't watched much Sesame Street. He had a talking Elmo but it drove me and DH crazy with its "can you help elmo up please?" that we put it away.

Sesame Place is closer so maybe we'll just do a day trip out of it. DS loves ppl watching and will probably enjoy the water park and shows. that's enough for me.

Sesame place is great. They have alot of different shows. a parade at the end of the day. Tons of little splash pools. Characters all over the park. Your ds would have a great time there without ever stepping on a ride.
