Would you let your boss' sibling be your primary care physician?
I have yet to find a primary care physician that I really like. I was actually thinking of choosing my boss' sibling as my primary care (they're suppose to be very good) but I don't know. I'm wondering what conflicts could arise (even though for the most part I believe the doctor would not violate my privacy).
Thoughts?

No. While they are supposed to follow HIPAA laws, I still would not be comfortable with it.

I wouldn't. I didnt even like it when my boss & I went to the same doctor.

Nope, I would be afraid if something happened I was unhappy about it would roll over to the other sibling whether my boss or their sibling.

No. One of the doctors in the pediatrics practice I chose was married to my friend's sibling. In the beginning it was great, and I admit that we got some preferential treatment because of the connection. Then my friend and her sibling had a huge falling out and don't speak, which made doctor visits very awkward. I ended up switching practices rather than deal with the weirdness.

No way. The only way I would go for that type of affilitation is if it were a specialist that was known as being one of the best.
For a PCP, there are plenty of other good doctors I could go to.
