would you pay for a gender sono?
So I am dying to know the sex of this baby and was thinking of going for a gender sono at 16 weeks. Would you do this? I dont know if I should just wait it out (i have an 18 weeks appt- but dont know if my doctor will do a sono/tell me at that time) or pay $60 at 16 weeks. Also did anyone else do it and was it accurate that early?

i wouldn't....
we had just a quick sono at 16 weeks (because my DH missed the 12 week one since he was in the hospital)... at that appointment we scheduled the level 2 - so i knew the date and everything and was able to look forward to it... KWIM?
i don't think it's really necessary to pay when you can find out free

I wouldn't bother paying... I mean, I even passed on getting the Intiligender for $40 b/c I decided to just wait it out. I'll be finding out for free in just 3 weeks... I'm also 16 weeks. And, you never really know how accurate that one can be at this time b/c sometimes not all of the organs down there are fully developed.... I would def. just wait it out.

No, I would wait until my level II. If then for some reason we couldn't find out the sex, then I would pay for one.

thanks guys, thats what my DH is saying, to wait it out. I wanted to do the intelligender but he thought it was a waste of $35. I will prob just stick it out LOL

That's what I would do if I wasn't on team  (my friend actually did this because they couldn't tell at her level II)

I wouldn't wait... I am 13 weeks and DYING to know. Where were u thinking of going?
I was thinking of going to impact and doing a 2 session package and saving the other one for like 32 weeks or so... But then if I am doing the first one JUST for the sex it is kinda pricey... For 60 bucks I'm all there though, lol
