Would you read someone else's greeting card?
Just curious if you would pick up a displayed greeting card and read it at another person's house..?

yes, cause I have them displayed and anyone is welcome to pick them up ane read them. If I didn't want them to be read, they would be put away.

Re: Would you read someone else's greeting card?
yea, if it's out in the open.
Why put them out if they are not supposed to be read?

Re: Would you read someone else's greeting card?
it depends on who's greeting card it is. If I was at my sister's house I might read it. But if I was in an office, and it was on someone's desk...I wouldn't

At a family members house, yes I have.
At a friends house, maybe not - it would have to be a very close friend for me to feel comfortable doint that

Re: Would you read someone else's greeting card?
No and I also take them down when I know people are coming over. I do leave the ones up from DS but not mine. I don't feel it is anyone's business to read the cards I give DH or DH gives me.

I agree with this as well. Just because I have them on display for my own enjoyment does not mean is for anyone that comes to my house to read them. If I go to someone's home, I'd never read their cards because those were not addressed to me. Why would I want to read them? Unless I was asked to do so, I'd never do that.

Re: Would you read someone else's greeting card?
Yes. When on display I do. I display all our cards (no matter what occasion) on our mantle. If people want to read them, I have no problem with it. That is why they are there (I display them open, so, they are easy to read). If there are any real personal ones, I simply do not display it.
