Would you send birthday invitations to the following family/friends?

1.) a few families, haven't attened any of the last 6 parties you invited them to. They RSVP through someone else also. This family isn't immediate family and I don't see them unless someone else has parties

2.) a family member who has only come to the 2 parties out of 8, one being recent. Now recently my mother invited them over and he told her he couldn't be bothered with traveling to her on his day off.

I really don't know why I always overthink every birthday. It is so annoying.

no don't invite them!!! just keep it simple!!! if they didn't come to a lot of the parties and get togethers then obviously it's not important to them!! i would just do close family and close friends. don't make yourself nuts!!!!Chat Icon

No way would I invite either. Don't go out of your way to include someone that obviously doesn't feel the need to come to anything!

Def. not the first one.

Not sure about #2 - that comment was so rude I think I would just say that I am keeping it small and that's that!

I've got a few #1s (or something similar). I ended up inviting them to "keep the peace." I decided I didn't want to be one to cause unnecessary drama and if they don't come, no skin off my back.
