i know its 70 out but does the rule still apply for after labor day when its nice ouT?

Depending on the dress, I'd wear open toe all year long. Unless it's freezing cold.

If it is 70, then I would.
but if it is cooler than 60 - I wouldn't. but a peep-toe would work!

Yes i still would, I dont go by the after labor day saying, Its like saying you cant wear white pants after labor day, I still see people do that. Do what 'YOU' feel comfortable doing, Dont let anyone tell you otherwise.

The "no open toe rule after labor day" is nonsense.
Most special occasions warrant dressier, strappy sandals/dress shoes and would look foolish with a closed toe shoe regardless of the time of year.

I'm the lone vote for NO.
I don't like toes at a wedding....ever. Not for the bride, bridesmaids, ESPECIALLY not for the mother of the groom...especially in November. ::cough cough::

depending on the dress, i ALWAYS wear open toed shoes to a wedding... even if its in the dead of winter!!!
i base it on the dress... if it looks stupid with close toed shoes, then go with open... if you can get away with closed toed, then go with that!
