Wound up at the Dr again today!!
So i went to work this morn feeling really tired and crampy. And as soon as i got there, i started having BH contractions.. but then they started getting really intense, and coming every 7 or 8 minutes. A few i could hardly catch my breath from. So everyone at work is like go call your Dr. and i was like " i dont know if this is real or fake? I feel stupid" So now i cant do my work, cause i cant cant out of the chair i'm in  so i called my dr's office, and they were like come in NOW. I"m like i'm already at Mercy, cant i just walk down to L&D? They were like No, we want to evaluate you here.
So one of my coworkers drove me down the block to their office and they hooked me up to the fetal monitor to see what was goin on. The intensity of the contractions stopped, and so did the frequency, so they said it was just the BH. I am still 1 cm dilated and 50-60% effaced, no change since Wednesday.
The baby was sleeping while hooked up to the monitor and the dr kept trying to shake my belly to wake him so he would move, kick, something... but NO, he kept right on sleeping. I said he is just like his father, and i hope he sleeps this much out of the womb as he does in!
So the Dr. sent me home, to relax, and put my feet up! So i called back my job....sorry... DR'S ORDERS!! GOTTA GO HOME!!! 
So i thought maybe the little bugger was gonna make an early debut (today is DH bday) but he decided its just to cozy in there and he's gonna hang out a little longer...
And that was my excitement for today!!!!

That's a great day - it's my birthday!
I had really intense BH off and on the last few weeks too. I went out of work early b/c of them, I drove an hour to work and was terrified they'd start while I was driving and I wouldn't be able to control the car.

If you drink cold water during those tests it often wakes the baby and gets him/her active.
Glad you HAD to go home.
