Wow
After everything we have gone through with specialists and not being able to get pregnant, my husband has been the "rock" during this.. Well, I was so shocked tonight, he broke down and cried. I could not believe it. Of course, seeing him cry, I was hysterical. I didn't know everything was bothering him, he never shows any emotions.. Always tells me he's ok..He said he doesn't want to put anymore stress on me, that's why he never says that he's sad or worried about everything. We just held each other and talked about it.. It's getting really stressful/frustrating now! Sorry for the little vent

Re: Wow
My DH did that after the fifth failed transfer. He had been so strong all along, but for some reason that failed transfer took him over the top.
You'll get there, sometimes the road is long, but you'll get there.

Re: Wow
This is not easy and I think eventually even men who are not emotional cave at some point. It tears my heart out everyday when I see how easily some get pregnant multiple times.

Re: Wow
I completely understand where you're coming from. Its so hard because we're usually the emotional ones and they're the rocks. When they break down its really painful.
But at least you know he's 100% committed to this and he proved it to you. After a good cry I always feel empowered. I hope it does the same for you guys.

I completely agree. I think I take for granted that he is so strong and I'm the weaker one. Good luck to you!

Re: Wow
I think its harder on the guys than we think. I was upset last week after AF came early and DH didn't really say anything so I told him he didn't care, but he told me was actually disappointed when I told him I had started bleeding. This was only our first cycle really being able to try so to know that he did feel bad was different.

Re: Wow
Glad he is feeling better.. I always dismiss my DH feelings about this, and really I shouldn't because he is hurting just as much as me
