WOW

Just finished reading Gone with the Wind and WOW seriously that was the BEST BEST book i have read in a long time. It was like a soap opera! I really can't even say enough how much I loved it. I can't believe I was so reluctant to read it for some reason, I feel as if I have been missing out!

haha sorry I just needed to share my excitement over this book

Re: WOW

It is one of my favorite books ever. So much better than the movie. I feel so many Scarlett-defining moments are left out of the movie, so you actually get a better sense of her. And when Rhett left, I still bawl.

Re: WOW

My fave book ever.

I actually think the movie is one of the better adaptations of a book. Truer to the book than most.

Re: WOW

yup i agree- this is also one of my favorite books ever. I keep meaning to re-read it one of these days. The movie was fantastic, but it doesnt do it justice... leaves out whole characters and timeframes in her life.

I love it! She is such a strong woman. The mivie adaptation is good, but dated in its own way. I love the moment Clark Gable first sees her at the Tarleton's barbecueChat Icon

Eta my mom and I are going to reread it this summer. I was in the 9th grade when I first read it.
