Wow, being pregnant really brings out the "bitc..." I mean Best in people huh? Short little vent
I have been feeling very sick since yesterday so this morning, I decided to stop at the bagel store and get a whole wheat bagel, toasted plain and a pepsi.
Every morning my floor has a meeting and so, my co workers see my breakfast (and comment) which is usually an apple, yogurt and granola, with lemon water...
THis has been the same for FIVE years... (Im boring I KNOW)
Well, low and behold...
This morning when I asked for the Pepsi, the guy, Ithought, said how many, and I said One.... so
He gave me pepsi one (Which we all know is diet....)
And I said, One day out of the pregnancy won't hurt the baby, and opened the bottle (Mind you, I've been throwing up, really wanted the bubbles)
And my friend, whose sat next to me for five years says...
"YOu know thats diet. You're not supposed to drink diet. You should be taking care of yourself...."
Really?
Why do people love to comment on silly things?
And is this just pregnancy, or would you have been just as annoyed?

Welcome to your pregnancy and the plethora of comments that are completely unsolicited and out of left field. They really only get worse and towards the end, people start telling you how you should raise your child.
So, it is a little of both-I would be annoyed, but it is exacerbated by pregnancy!

Welcome to your pregnancy and the plethora of comments that are completely unsolicited and out of left field. They really only get worse and towards the end, people start telling you how you should raise your child.
So, it is a little of both-I would be annoyed, but it is exacerbated by pregnancy!
I shall blame it on the baby bump!!!!!!!!!!

I would be annoyed either way. The last place I worked we would have these marathon meetings. I would bring hummus w/ pretzel chips, and fruit, tea, etc... They other ppl would be eating pizza & chips, and always had to comment that I must be on a diet. Or ask what I was eating (like greek yogurt was some foreign food). It use to piss me off, I wasn't on a diet that is just the type of food I eat, not to lose weight, b/c it is healthy & what I like.

yeah, people are F'ing idiots...
today is my birthday and everyone keeps asking about my plans for tonight. I wanted sushi, we are going for sushi. The guy whose office is next to mine comments "really? you should take better care of yourself and your baby!" REALLY?! thanks dude, thanks for telling me how to take care of myself and my child - like you have ANY clue!
