wow- I had no clue make up brushes are so expensive!
so a few weeks ago I posted about me starting to wear eye make up
but I noticed that it gets funky b/c of my eye cream and normal wear
so I went to buy a base coat for it today
it was $19
then while she was ringing me - I said- I need a brush too
my new total $49
$29.50 for a brush

Where did you buy it? Yes, brushes can be $$$. I actually like the brand Essence.. they sell it at CVS and they are cheap, but not cheaply made..

yup - they can be expensive
next time you're in Target and need a brush, check out Sonia Kashuk's line of MU brushes. they've been highlighted in Allure and In Style as exceptional values for the quality.
I LOVE her brushes. SO incredibly soft and they don't shed!

I actually like Japonesque (got it at ulta) and the L'oreal brushes (got at harmon).

I agree with the other poster about the Sonia Kashuk line at Target. I've been using her eye brushes daily for three years and they are still perfect.

Ditto - Essence is great!
I have Bare Escentuals, Sephora brand, and Mally Beauty brushes (about 30 all together - I'm addicted) and my one Essence eyeshadow brush is my go-to ALL the time. I love it!!!
