Wow... My client is so generous.
For a holiday gift, He sent my department a box of bottled water with his company logo on it. On the gift note it said:
Many wishes for a wonderful & joyful holiday season. Thanks for all your hard work throughout the year. We hope you enjoy this little treat from us to you.
Ummm... Are you serious?

i agree, i see where you are coming from. it is an odd gift choice, especially since their motive was not only to thank you but ALSO to promote their logo.
my father gets gifts like this all the time - chocolates with logos printed on them, stuffed animals of the companies mascots, etc. it's nice to get but at the same time, you're
at least it wasn't a bottle of wine
