Wow, Sesame Street....
I'm watching Cailen watch Sesame Street - a show I grew up with, and I still see Gordon, Maria, and Bob - all actors who have been in the show for 30+ years, and I'm just amazed by that.
Is Louise still there?

Re: Wow, Sesame Street....
Was she Gordon's wife? I only remember seeing her once in the past 3 years. An episode where Gordon's son's band was playing in that courtyard outside Hooper's store.
Oh, and maybe she was on the episode where their nephew joined the show last year. The one where he was looking in the want ads for a job.

I think this all the time! What's even funnier is that they all still look the same, it's like Sesame Street is the fountain of youth!

Gordon's wife's name was Susan.
I think she is talking about Luis, Maria's husband. He is on once in a while.

I was just thinking about that the other day! Somewhere at my parent's house we have the 20th Anniversary show on VHS I remember watching it when I was little.

it is bit more updated. 30 some odd years ago when I use to watch it, I don't remember them singing a song about "the people in your family" and incuding pictures of 2 Mommies or 2 Daddies Hooray for Sesame Street that they have continued success and have kept up with the times

I agree
I actually saw something funny on CBS news the other night about how thefirst and second season of Sesame Street just came out on DVD, but they have a "For Adults Only" warning on them because a few of things they do wouldn't go over too well in today's world

Re: Wow, Sesame Street....
I bought that Old School Sesame Street DVD set that we talked about a while ago on NFR. It is amazing!!!!!!! If you want to see all your old friends, plus some famous guests, watch those. It is labelled as "inappropriate for today's youth" but that label only made me run out to buy it even faster. I have to find out when the current Sesame Street is on.
