Wow- That sucked!
So, I haven't really posted about it, but I miscarried last week at 7 weeks. Completely devastating- but I am getting over it.
I would have been 8 weeks today- and I had my first sono scheduled for tomorrow.
I have miscarried before- and the last time I miscarried, my OB's office cancelled any future appointments that I had made- so I didn't think to make it a point to cancel the appointments that I had scheduled this time around.
So, I got home from work, and there were 2 messages on my machine. 1 message was from the receptionist at the OB's office reminding me about my sono tomorrow. And the other message was the NP from my OB's office telling me that my bloodwork results came back and my beta dropped to 31.
I immediately called the Dr's office and told them that I wouldn't be coming in for my sono since I had miscarried. The lady immediately apologized.
And here I was trying to ignore the fact that I knew my first sono would be tomorrow.

So sorry- that really stinks. I am sure it was just an honest mistake, but that doesn't make it hurt any less.....
