WOw the news people are totally salivating...
.....Over Hanna! Good Lord. It is not even a hurricane! I know a tropical storm can do some damage but, they are making it seem like a Cat 4 storm is hitting us!!
I don't know I grew up on waterfront property so maybe I don't panic so much from storms because I have seen it all. My house was flooded several times and I was evacuted by the firemen, from my house in a boat going down the middle of the street. 
(Okay I was 12 and I thought it was really fun!! My mom probably thought differently as she watached her house fill with water)
But honestly.. they act like they WANT a major hurricane to hit us!! Why not say, okay there will be a lot of rain but, thank god it's not a hurricane?
Does anyone feel this way?

I like watching the coverage. Unfortunately Katrina wasn't going to be a big storm at first and look what happened.

It's their job to forecast the weather what is so sick about that? Doesn't matter whether the storm is bad or not. Their job is to predict the weather and right now they are predicting a bad storm. Sometimes they are wrong and sometimes they are right but still i'd rather be informed than not informed...

yes I totally agree that they ALWAYS make it more than what it is. 
sooo annoying. I never take it seriously. and my husband takes it to ten levels ABOVE what they say. so you can imagine us deciding whether to still go somewhere in a storm.

Exactly because unless I see a news reporter almost blow away then I'm going to believe that it's all pretend and it's actually sunny outside.
