Wow...almost 1 year old....some questions

What is in your 1 year olds crib?

What's your meal schedule like?

What's the bottle schedule like?

When does nap #2 disappear? I'm lucky that she still takes 2 a day about 1-2 hrs (or more if I am truly lucky).

We're still doing 3 bottles, but it'll be anywhere between 2 oz-6 oz before she is ready to be put to sleep.

Meals: breakfast around 8am
lunch 12-1pm depending on when she wakes up
Dinner 5/5:30

Bedtime is 7ish.

What is in your 1 year olds crib?
She goes to bed with her pacifier and baby and she has the FP Aquarium

What's your meal schedule like?
We really have no meal schedule because sometimes she eats and sometimes she doesn't. Typically it's breakfast within 30min of waking up with sippy cup of milk (we stopped the bottle right around 1 year).
Lunch is somewhere around 11:30-12
Dinner is anywhere from 4:30-6 depending on how much snacking she has done

What's the bottle schedule like?
We just started giving her cups filled with milk or water at around one. She drinks those during the day

When does nap #2 disappear?
About 14 months we started phasing out nap #2 all together but her one nap did start to become 2-3 hours.

Bedtime for us got a bit later as well. It's usually between 8-8:30 and she typically sleeps 11-12 hours a night (this week is the exception to that since something seems to be going on with her).

What is in your 1 year olds crib?
Her blankie, her little purple stuffed dinosaur, her paci, and the FP aquarium

What's your meal schedule like?
Breakfast around 8am, lunch around 12pm, dinner around 6pm

What's the bottle schedule like?
On demand - we use the sippy cup, she drinks whenever she's thirsty

When does nap #2 disappear? I'm lucky that she still takes 2 a day about 1-2 hrs (or more if I am truly lucky).
Disappeared at around 13 months, but only at daycare. When she's home, she's bored to tears and still takes 2 naps

Alex goes to bed at 8pm, wakes up at 7am

Re: Wow...almost 1 year old....some questions

Sarah's 22 months, but a lot still applies...

What is in your 1 year olds crib?

Sarah has an assortment of stuffed animals that she brings in and out as the mood strikes her. And a blanket that my grandma made her.

Meal/nap schedule

Sippy of milk when she wakes between 6:30 and 8am
breakfast around 9am
Goes down for a 2-3 hour nap between 10 and 11am
lunch when she wakes up with a milk sippy
afternoon snack with very watered down juice
Dinner 6ish
Bedtime around 8pm.

What's the bottle schedule like?

MOst of the time Sarah drinks from sippys, but she will still want a bottle if she's upset or before nap and bed. The ped told me this is totally normal when you have 2 close in age (16 months difference) and she sees the baby with one and wants one too. He said not to make an issue out of it, they'll both go off at the same time.

When does nap #2 disappear?

I think it was about 18 months or so, but some days she will still want an afternoon nap for about an hour or so.

What is in your 1 year olds crib?

Bumpers, FP Aquarium, Blanket, and she goes to bed with "Blue Bunny" and "Baa (her little sheep)."

What's your meal schedule like?

I'm not totally sure since I work, but I believe it's like this...
Breakfast: 8:30
Lunch: 12:30
Dinner: 5:30
Snacks (goldfish, water) midmorning and midafternoon..when I'm with her anyway.

What's the bottle schedule like?

Bottles around 30 minutes to 1hr. after each meal...so 3 bottles total. Yeah, should get started on that sippy cup thing. That's my laziness though, not her resistance. 18 oz. total, which my doctor says is perfect.

When does nap #2 disappear?

She's never been a good napper, so the 2nd nap was never a constant. She'll very occasionally take 2 if the first one was really short. She's almost 16 mos. (but it's been like this since around 12 mos.) and takes about one 1 hour nap around 3:30...that's it!

She goes to bed between 7:30 and 8pm. Sleeps 12 hours.

Nate stopped using a bottle around 13 months... He gets a sippy cup of milk at 7:30 am before he goes to daycare and another cup of milk around 7pm after dinner and bath. He drinks juice and water at daycare

When does nap #2 disappear?
At daycare, he usually only takes one nap after lunch with the rest of the kids. On weekends, he still takes two naps - one around 10am and 3pm

Re: Wow...almost 1 year old....some questions

What is in your 1 year olds crib? Just a crocheted (sp?) blanket my best friend made him. I bought a small pillow for him but he hates it.

What's your meal schedule like?
730am-8oz bottle and then breakfast (cereal w/milk, waffles, eggs, cut up fruit, pancakes or toast

What's the bottle schedule like?
When he wakes up he gets one 8 oz bottle and then before dinner he gets another 4 oz bottle.

When does nap #2 disappear? He still takes 2 naps a day. One in the early morning and one in the afternoon.

Meals: breakfast around 7:30-8am; lunch is at 1pm; dinner at 6pm and then DH and I eat dinner at around 7-8pm and he picks at what we're eating too. Bed time is at 9-9:30pm.
