If you go to Michaels there's a cute engagement invitation shaped like an engagement ring (standard solitare) and they have a cute phrase- I think it's by wilton...
I'll see if I can find it for you...

I made mine, using a pic of me and DH drinking a glass of champagne (we had one from another occasion), and wrote on the outside by each of our pictures "He asked" "She said yes". Then on the inside it said "Join us to celebrate our engagement!"

we used a champagne bottle invite and the phrase was
"We're bubbling with the news...
Nicole and Rich are ENGAGED!"
