writing sample
so the interview i went on last week checked my references- everything looks good but i have to do a writing sample- going tomorrow morning- the interviewer said my references were really good and there is one more thing that needs to be done-- so does this mean that i have the job pending my writing sample??? it's a leave replacement (year). keep the good vibes coming my way-- just want to know already--

it can mean you have it... i went on interviews and did a writing sample and didn't get the job, but you are definitely in the final stages.
you will be most likely to ask to respond in writing on an issue in education or a technical question related to your certification area.

Good luck. You do not have it until they officially offer you the position. I was on an interview committee a few years ago and in the middle of the process we did the writing sample.

I would think it's widdled down to 2-3 people.
remember organize your thoughts. I think that is one of the bigegst things they are looking for.
