WW ? - Do you eat your extra points - and your activity points?
I really don't want to dip into either one of these, would maybe love to save some extra points for a cheat day.
What do you do? Do they tell you to dip in?
I go to my first meeting on Saturday morning so I"ll know more then! Sorry for all the questions!

I try to only dip into my extra points if I am going out to eat. I try to eat my set points each day (unless I have activity points, I'll eat them).
In 4 weeks, I lost 5.8lbs.

if you are exercising a lot then def up the points....if you exercise a lot and dont use activity points you will most likely not lose weight. A woman at my meeting was exercising everyday and she was eating right and couldnt figure out why she wasnt losing......I told her to use activity points....add it in as protein and she has been steadily losing now.

I have a general diet question. Why add it in as protein? Also can it be any kind of protein, like nuts and cheese, or should it be meat or poultry?
Sorry to hijack. I'm not on ww, but I'm cutting my calories and adding exercise to lose the last 20 lbs.

Good to know! I try to do Zumba three times a week and maybe another day of regular cardio. With Zumba though I've heard you can burn anywhere from 500-90 calories so maybe I'll eat a few extra points the next day (not like you have to twist my arm to get me to do that )

I do--I save them for the weekend when I am having wine or eating out.
Activity points I have been using day of.
I try to not use ALL the extra bc I figure that some days I may eat more points then I realize (if I eat out or guesstimate too low) so I like to have a cuhsion of "extra' weekly points that can cover me.

I do not eat my activity points-I just started exercising a little but I do not add those points in.
As for the points allowance, that varies. I try not to eat them but sometimes things come up and I "need" them so I'll use them in those cases-dinner out, wine with friends, family in town, etc. I think I do better when I don't rely on them, but when I have used them I still manage to lose (just not as much as when I don't).

You want to have more protein when you are working out so that your body will burn the carbs first and the protein is good for muscle development...and muscle will boost your metabolism. If you each late at night (which is fine) just eat something that is a protein. And no it doesnt have to be a meat protein. I eat edemame as a snack at night cause its a high protein.

I def use my extra points.
I WI on Saturday mornings and by Sunday evening they are all gone. It works for me though.
