WW Core lunch help needed
Can you core die-hards share your lunch ideas with me? Outside of having leftovers from the night before, I am struggling finding some realistic meals that would work for me.
thanks!

Re: WW Core lunch help needed
Here are some examples of what I ate when I was on core:
Fake crab meat/tomato/avocado with some soy sauce (and seaweed when I had it in the house)
Fat free salads - Tuna, salmon, chicken or egg. Sometimes I would use a pt. and make a sandwhich
0 point soup
Salad with beans, veggies, fish.
homemade ww chili
Core baked ziti
Steamed eggplant or veggies with brown rice and some brown sauce (very little) on the side
Veggie burger with no fat cheese and half a baked potato
eggs with no fat cheese and canadian bacon (I dont eat ham so I would exclude the bacon)
I make core potato leek soup

Re: WW Core lunch help needed
I am no help - I always eat leftovers! I plan my meals so I always have extra to bring for the next day.

Re: WW Core lunch help needed
I find that taking the time to plan out my meals helps me tremendously. I like to make food on Sunday and package it up for meals for the week. My favorite is baked chicken thighs with mashed sweet potato and corn. I take chicken thighs and pour FF Italian Dressing on top and bake for 1-1.5 hours. It comes out so moist and yummy. Then I adore the WW chili and that is CORE. I heat it up and add FF Sour Cream and FF Cheese and I am a happy camper. Yesterday I had a boca burger on a spinach flat out wrap (1) w/ 0 point WW soup. Core is definitely more challenging (for me) and something I have to plan in advance for but the results are worth it. Good luck!!

Re: WW Core lunch help needed
Hi! I have been doing core for a few weeks now and I agree- it's tough to find lunches on those mornings I don't have leftovers. I have found that it helps to always have 0 points soups and non fat plain yogurt on hand. They aren't a whole lunch but I can add it to something like a vegige burger. If you add spenda and fruit to the yogurt it tastes really good. Also if I don't have any fresh fruit, I use frozen blueberries or strawberries. I just throw them in with the yogurt and by the time I eat lunch they are soft enough to eat but not so soft they're yucky. Hope that helps!
