WW Help

I tried WW two years ago and it was successful. I would like to start again, but do not have any extra time to get there. Has anything changed in the past few years? How do I calculate how many points I would get in a day? Can I use the same sliding scale to calculate points that I was using? I am nursing, so I think that adds some, right? Any help would be greatly appreciated. The baby weight is not coming off as easily as last time.

Re: WW Help

You might want to check out WW online. They have a great website and you can sign up for online only. It will help you figure out your points, explain the plans and help you manage everything. Good luck!

Re: WW Help

the points finder (slider) has changed a little- for the fiber it only goes up to 4 (so anything that has more than 4 grams of fiber lines up at the same place)

The following are the questions that you use/answer to determine your daily point allowance:

1. Are you:
Female = 2 pts
Male = 8 pts
A Nursing Mom = 12 pts

2. How old are you:
17-26 = 4 pts
27-37 = 3 pts
38-47 = 2 pts
48-58 = 1 pt
Over 58 = 0 pts

3. What do you weigh?
Enter the first 2 digits of your weight in pounds

4. How tall are you?
Under 5'1" = 0 pts
5'1" - 5'10" = 1 pt
Over 5'10" = 2 pts

5. Do you spend most of you day:
(a) Sitting down = 0 pts
(b) Occasionally sitting, but mostly standing (teacher, sales person) = 2 pt
(c) Walking most of the time (waiter, mailman) = 4 pts
(d) Doing physically hard work most of the time (construction, nurse, gardener) = 6 pts

Add up your score and that is the number of points you get for the day.
As you lose weight, your number will decrease because of question # 3.
The minimum number of points you are allowed to have is 18 and the max is 44. So if you add your score and it is 17, make it now 18.

Thanks! This was exactly what I needed. I was looking at the online registration. Do they send you anything in the mail, or is everything done through the computer?
