WW ladies...A question...

My best friend is my height and weight. She just joined WW in Michigan, and they told her at 5'3" her goal WW weight is 113. That seemed a little low to me--we were both saying we were in the 120s in college and both felt very fit and in shape at 5'3" and 120 something. Do you find that their goal weight that WW sets is unreasonable?

Yes I do. I'm 5'0" and I believe they say my "goal weight" is 102 lbs or something. It's too tiny, for me at least. I like my healthy curves.

I believe they are unreasonable yes - but I do think that you can set your own weight goal at WW and they accept that as your goal. I am 5'5" and I think my WW goal is like 130 or something like that - it cant physically ever happen for me - its just not possible for some.

Re: WW ladies...A question...

I think the numbers they use are on the low side, but when you are getting close to what you want as goal, you talk to the leader and you choose a realistic goal weight for you.

I am planning to use something that puts me in the healthy BMI range. I know that there is little chance that even if I hit the # on their chart, I will be able to maintain it.

Re: WW ladies...A question...

I am 5'5" and my suggested range on WW is minimum of 120 and maximum of 144. I think 120 for my height is way too low.
