WW Point Question

Do you have to use ALL your points each day?? lol
I may sound like a silly question, but I'm new to this whole WW thing LOL. I've been on it for 3 days now, and I have been watching exactly what I'm eating, and logging each thing into the Plan Manager... Every glass of water, sip of soda...everything. It makes me feel good that I'm so on top of it all lol. But, each day I still had a left over 8-10 points. Is that normal? I'm eating my normal amount... 3 meals a day... one snack... including something with oil.
Jan 2nd I started my work-out plan, so that hasn't cahnged...and when I log that into the Plan Manager, usually it's another 10 points taken off.
I can't eat anymore than what I'm eating! LOL
Thanks!

Re: WW Point Question

are you eating your pts before the exercise pts. You need to eat all your pts (the original base amount) . If you only have 1-2 left over that might be ok but it shouldnt be 10 pts.

Re: WW Point Question

Well, I don't get it then LOL. How am I supposed to eat that much...?
The way I even got to the way I am now is I wouldn't snack healthy... I'd eat chips...cookies... cake... and not the normal amount...I would just pig out on them. Now, I am still eating a large breakfast, a normal sized lunch, a healthy snack, a large dinner, and still not adding up to the full points. ... Chat Icon I work out 2x a day, but I don't note taht on there till late at night...

ETA:
Yesterday went as this:
2 eggs with a pieces of toast
cupcake (birthday party LOL)
roast beef sandwich with mayo, lettuce & cheese
chicken, no skin, lightly seasoned with mixed veggies and 1 serving of a pasta side... I was 7 points shy of my 'base points'... and that was just food...not including exercise. Is taht bad? Is there something I'm doing wrong???

Re: WW Point Question

Are you weighing and measuring, counting milk in coffee or soda you drink? Maybe have an extra slice of toast in the morning and maybe a snack in the evening?
Maybe boost up your lunch with a snack or something? But honestly, if you're not hungry, I wouldn't find reasons to eat.

Re: WW Point Question

Thanks!
Yes, I am weighing and measuring... but I only did it the once so far since I just signed up LOL. Then I plan on doing it once a week. I count in milk and soda...each thing that I eat or drink goes on there. LOL.
I just want to make sure I'm doing it right! I suppose since it's just the first 2 days maybe I added the points wrong or something, but aah well. I'll give it some time and if I still don't reach what they say I should have, then I'll ask someone that works there HAHA. Or I'll go to a meeting or something. So far I do in fact love the program.... I can't wait to see reults this upcoming week.

Re: WW Point Question

You really should eat all the points or it won't really work. I would try switching to something regular instead of fat free for example cheese. Have a glass of tea with some honey, this always works for me...

Re: WW Point Question

Thanks ladies! After seeing that I am in fact supposed to reach my points each day, I changed some things around, and sure enough, I reached all my points today! YAAY! That's not including my work-out, but still...eating wise, I did it! LOL. Now I just gotta make sure I stick to that...at least mostly!
