I should say that we plan on making dinner at least 2 nights so that we can control the meal lol We're also bringing all of our fresh produce & whatever other foods we can so that we can try our best to stay on. I'm really worried about the temptation to hit all of the snacks & goodies though Chat Icon

I don't know but I would love to hear some tips since we have two parties tomorrow.

And, I'm going out to dinner tonight with the girls.

Dieting aside, that sounds like a fun weekend! I hope that you have a nice time tonight Chat Icon

Would you happen to know if you can go to meetings at different locations? Maybe we can catch one in PA tomorrow or on Tues. since we're missing our Sunday mtg. I'll prob call in a few to see...

I'm not sure in terms of actual weight watchers... but in just trying to eat "healthy"

stick with grilled chicken (white meat... boneless skinless breast pref)

stay away from potato/macaroni/etc. salads that are made with mayo

fill up on light garden salads with FF dressing or just a squeeze of lemon juice and some s&P

bring cool whip! there's always fresh fruit, right? and you can feel like you're "indulging" with some cool whip Chat Icon

Chat Icon you poor thing! Chat Icon

you can even probably do strawberries dipped in DARK chocolate - from what I've read I think they can just be 1 WW point... that's a fun and yummy dessert!

ETA: If you're going to a party/BBQ, you can offer to bring it... KWIM? this way you know you'll have something healthy for dessert!

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

Gina's Weight Watcher Recipes

Servings: 12 • Size: 1 strawberry • Calories: 49 • Points: 1 ww pts

* 4 oz dark semi-sweet chocolate
* 12 strawberries

Rinse and completely dry the strawberries.

In a medium microwave safe bowl, microwave chocolate on HIGH for 30 seconds. Stir and repeat until all the chocolate is melted. (Do not overheat or the chocolate will become chunky and separated)

Dip strawberries and place on waxed paper to cool. You can eat right away refrigerate to give it a hard chocolate coating.

Re: WW Tips for the holiday weekend?

Bring a healthy dish with you!! Bring fresh fruit or veggies. Then you can pick on those.

Before you go eat a light meal so you aren't as tempted.

Eat your burger, hotdog etc with no bun to cut out points.

Re: WW Tips for the holiday weekend?

I think you are on the right track with bringing healthy snacks. Also, maybe having something low points and filling before you go so you won't eat as much while there. Or splurge and use your extra weekly points if you want. Good luck!
