Went for my second weigh in yesterday and I am up .2 pounds a bit disappointed but not discouraged. I know the cause of it is AF.

another 1.6 this week!
4.8 total for me so far in 2 weeks!
I was a little upset though - because even though I lost this morning, the woman behind the counter didn't even say anything.... . I know she's busy and has other things to do....but she just handed me my book and told me to have a nice day....

do you mind me asking which one you go to....because I stopped going to a certain one for this reason

Well, after a few week hiatus--one week it said I gained like 5 pounds and I just couldn't bear to post it, especially since I didn't really eat badly that week... (Darn you, AF!)
I am now down 2.5 this week, for a total of 11.7.
It's going slooooooowly, but at least it's going!!
I have to join a gym, I was going to do Curves and then some friends suggested a different gym, and then I could go with them, but they are fitness FREAKS and I feel like I'd just be embarrassed.  So maybe that just answered my question, and I should do Curves until I feel more fit and less embarrassed to be working out with MEN and skinny little women wearing spandex who say they're fat in the same room!

I agree with the gym... I don't belong to Curves, but something like it and it's very easy to go to the gym and workout compared to going to a co-ed gym like I used to. I found there were very few "people like me" when I would go, which made me very uncomfortable.

Everyone's doing so good, congrats! I joined last week and weighed in today, I lost 3.4lbs the first week. Not much but I'm excited, I have another 10 to go.
Can anyone tell me about points and excersize? My friend told me something and I asked tonight but the woman told me not to worry about it.
