WWYD - babysitter related
Husband told people we would go out, before checking with me. Our babysitter already had plans. One of the other wives suggested someone she works with who is 19. I have never met her and feel uncomfortable about quickly meeting her and then letting her watch Jenna. DH thinks I am being dramatic..am I

I'd probably go for it if someone I knew well vouched for her.
I do think it's a good idea to have more than one babysitter so if she works out, better for you.

Where does the 19 year old work? If its anything child related, or you know the wife well enough to trust her recommendation I'd go for it. If I didn't know the person doing the recommendation and they worked together somewhere totally random and that is no indication of ability to handle kids, I'd be nervous too.
