WWYD - Preschool
Jeremy is 3. I was thinking about preschool for him... he is a clinger he needs to get out and play with kids without mommy around. I was thinking preschool (Emma started when she was 4) So my district has UPK which works out to be nice and free but I won't have any details till the end of May (budget vote) and there is no guarentee he will get in, only so many spots. THEN there is the place Emma went which isn't $$ but it still is $900 for the year ($150 a month). I have to sign him up now and even I don't know if they have spots available.
would you wait for the UPK or would you sign him up for the other one pay the $50 regi fee and lose the $50 if he can get into the UPK or just keep him in the other one?

Re: WWYD - Preschool
are you trying to get him into the same school that your dd is already in?? because if he has a sibling in the school you are trying to get him in for the upk, he will almost definitly be accepted.

Well Emma is in Kindergarten in the school district. Emma went to a private preschool.

I'd sign him up and pay the $50. ince the ultimate goal is to get him out and socializing, you don't want him to get shut out either way. IMO, you'll be kicking yourself over the $50 if he ends up with no spot in either place.

Re: WWYD - Preschool
After seeing how hard it can be to get a spot at a preschool last minute I would probably sign up at the private one and lose the $50 if I decided to use the UPK
