WWYD? Day trip - Sesame or Apple/Pumpkin picking
I really wanted to go apple picking this fall but with everyone saying pickin's were slim we just never did it. Last week there was a groupon for Wrights Farm upstate. When I went to their website, I noticed they also have pumpkin picking too. I figured we'd kill two birds with one stone and do both there and make a nice day trip out of it. But now that I'm REALLY looking at it, it's a 2 1/2 hour drive. I had no intention of taking DS to Sesame Place until next year, but now I'm thinking, if I'm going to be in the car that long, may be we should just go to SESAME instead and do pumpkin picking at Lewins. While the season pass is expensive (and I really hadnt budgeted for it), our trip would be "free" since the 2012 season pass includes this fall. DS is going to be 2 on the 13th. Is Sesame really worth it if we're not doing any of the water stuff? I took him to a local carnival last week and he LOVED the firetrucks that went around in a circle (actually tantrumed when I took him off) whereas over the summer I didnt think he really was ready for the rides yet....I'm so confused! What would you do?! (P.S. we'd be going TOMORROW)

I think he will have more fun at Sesame because they have rides. You will be sitting in traffic for hours and hours to go pumpkin picking upstate I'm sure!

I just looked at the weather...it's going to be 84 degrees . Maybe we CAN do the water rides too?

I think there are only 2 open now with weather permitting. Check their website. They also have everything done up for Halloween (including trick or treating)
