WWYD? Dr. appointment
DS and I both have a cold, stuffy noses and a raspy voice. His voice is actually a little worse than mine. No fevers, he's eating and sleeping fine. Well, he has his 2 year well visit this afternoon. He'll probably have to get his shots. He's never had any bad side effects except a slight fever from them.
Do you think I should postpone his appointment due to his cold, or let the doctor decide if she should give him the shots?
Normally I would just go, but since DS freaks out the minute the nurse opens the door to the exam room....and DOESN"T calm down until we are walking out. I would like to try to assume what the doctor would say before "wasting" a trip in and dealing with this behavior!
Thanks in advance!

I would just put it off then. Call your ped and let him know that DS is sick.

Re: WWYD? Dr. appointment
I;d call and see what they say 1st.
Mine will give shots with a cold as long as there is no fever. But they do leave it up to me if i want to postpone or not.
Hope he feels better soon
